Practising meditation daily allows us to weave silence and stillness into our mind and body, to create a life of greater compassion and fulfilment. 

What is Primordial Sound Meditation?

Primordial Sound Meditation is a meditation technique originating in the ancient wisdom of India. Primordial sounds – the basic, most essential sounds of nature – are used to disconnect us from the activity of life. These individually selected sounds known as mantras, are based on the vibration the universe was making at the time of your birth.

Once your Primordial Sound Meditation Mantra has been calculated by the Chopra Centre Vedic Astrologers, you will be taught how to use it on a daily basis to reawaken balance, tranquillity and compassion within. Livasha, your Chopra Centre Certified Instructor will help you to integrate this practice into your daily routine.

How do I learn Primordial Sound Meditation?

Primordial Sound Meditation is easily learned over two half-days.
We regularly hold weekend retreats and workshops, focussing solely on Primordial Sound Meditation.

One

Livasha will introduce you to the basic principles of meditation, its history and the importance of your mantra.

TWO

In this session you will receive your personal mantra and learn how to use it. You will meditate for the first time using this mantra, in a group.

THREE

In this session you will learn the practical aspects of meditation, share your experience with the group, obtain answers to any questions, followed by a second group meditation.

FOUR

In this session Livasha will explain Deepak Chopra’s vision of the higher states of  consciousness, which could be achieved by meditating regularly.

How will Primordial Sound Meditation

Nowadays, doctors are increasingly citing stress as a major contributing factor to most illnesses.  Even though meditation should not be considered a cure by itself, research has shown it to be beneficial for a wide range of health problems.
Stress may be eliminated through meditation, enabling our minds and bodies to function with greater effectiveness.
